Beautiful location with lovely walks from the door
Lovely small hotel in a great location for hiking. You can walk from the door for several days without repeating the same walk. And of course you can always get in the car and drive a short distance to other beautiful places.

Brilliant!
We've been visiting Sygun Fawr for many years and this was probably our very best visit. Jay, Keith and the rest of the team have embraced the ethos of relaxed continuity and excellence in terms of service. The food, especially, is exceptional, with quality and value happily combined. The place is an absolute gem and we can't wait for our next visit.

Sygun Fawr was perfect in every way - certainly a location to return to.
An extremely comfortable, clean and quiet hotel set in a lovely, peaceful garden with benches in every nook and cranny possible, and outstanding views of Mynydd Sygun (Sygun Mountain). The food was ten out of ten - both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were so friendly and helpful (all three generations!). Sygun Fawr is within easy walking distance of Beddgelert along a quiet country lane and footpath, and Beddgelert itself is a lovely village. Diolch yn fawr.

A very comfortable and enjoyable few days away.
A lovely hotel in a breathtaking location that felt like miles from anywhere. About a mile from Beddgelert but if walking at night, take a good torch! Public areas (lounge, conservatory, dining rooms, garden and bar) were lovely, welcoming and perfect for relaxing in. Room was spot on in every respect. Great choice for breakfast and everything prepared and presented impeccably. Faultless.
